First Annual Photo Contest

We have some exciting news! Because of the Pandemic we considered postponing our first-ever Sports Shooter Academy Annual Contest. But after some discussion the SSA workshop faculty decided to go ahead, with a couple changes.

Instead of making the contest for just college and university students we added an “open” category with a bit of a twist. The COVID-19 Pandemic has changed our lives, how sports is played and how we cover it. The open category will have a theme: “Sports During The Pandemic.”

The judging for the Sports Shooter Academy Annual Contest will be held virtually. Your contest entry fee will also give you access to live judging sessions as well as the Sports Shooter Academy 2021 (Virtual) Workshop. This on-line educational event will feature inspirational and instructional presentations along with a panel discussion on the status and future of sports photography. More details on the contest judging and the SSA 2021 (Virtual) Workshop will be announced in early MarchEntries should have been taken between January 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021.
